I attended the Esthetician program at SBA in 2014. Working in the spa industry is a really, really, bad idea. I cannot speak for cosmetologists, but an esthetician license is worthless. There are not a lot of jobs out there, and the few jobs that do exist pay very little, are half-time and give you no benefits. You would probably make better money working as a waitress. Of course SBA isn't going to tell you any of this. If you are looking into starting a new career, I would look into other options, like community college.
